Children with CP often experience poor growth, the condition is largely derived from clinical manifestations due to malnutrition, endocrineopathy, or poor bone growth. Potential side effects of malnutrition and poor growth, as a basis for addressing the cause. Prudence in conducting a clinical assessment, and the results of scientific research indicate that malnutrition and poor growth should be addressed specific handling through various programs is required to improve health status and quality of life. Children with cerebral palsy (CP) have problems in increasing their weight Children with CP require specific handling by involving parents through increasing knowledge and skills in feeding conducted in 3-months Feeding Rules intervention program. Quasi Experimental Research with One Group Pretest-Posttest approach aims to measure the Intervention of Feeding Risk Counseling towardthe body weight of Child with Cerebral palsy. The study was conducted in Children House / Griya Lare Utami Bantul and SLB Negeri 1 Bantul with samples of 18 parents and children of CP taken by purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted by using bivariate analysis Paired t-test. There is a weight difference or weight gain of children withcerebral palsy after their parents given feeding rules counseling with sig = 0,005. Suggestion: Counseling assistance feeding rules for parents with children Cerebral Palsy need to be done in a longer period of time in order to obtain the ideal weight gain to support the health and quality of life of children cerebral palsy.
